Attendance and punctuality reward
As you now all know, we recently changed the way we run School Council so every child in the school now has a voice when it comes to making decisions that affect all of them. On Monday 11th September 2017, the Whole School Council (all children) were asked how they wanted to be rewarded for 100% attendance and punctuality. They had to consider whether they wanted to keep non-school uniform or receive a different award. In a unanimous decision, they voted to no longer have non-school uniform as a reward and instead they would like to be rewarded with extra golden time spent with Max, our new Maypole dog. Therefore, if your child has 100% attendance and punctuality between 5th September–22nd September they will receive this reward the following week on a timetabled basis across the week. Then, if your child has 100% attendance and punctuality between 25th September-13th October, they will receive this reward in the last week of term. Term 2 dates will be published in the term 2 newsletter, but will include the final week of term 1. If your child does not wish to spend time with Max, they will receive extra golden time at a different time and Max will not be present. Well done to the children for making such an important and well thought out decision.
At the end of term 2 (December 2017), pupils achieving 100% attendance since September will receive a Bronze Attendance certificate and sticker.
At the end of term 4 (March 2018), pupils achieving 100% attendance since September will receive a Silver Attendance certificate and sticker.
